After our briefing we depart your accommodation for the King Meng Rai monument who was the founder of Chiang Rai in 1262 A.D.
We then visit the Hill Tribe Museum where you can enjoy learning about tribal cultures and purchase some hill tribe products if you wish which helps support the local hill tribes.
We continue our trip on to Chiang Rai municipality market (local wet market).
Then we make a stop at Wat Pra Kaew Chiang Rai where the famous Emerald Buddha image (in Bangkok) was founded in 1434 A.D.
We then visit Wat Rong Khun, also called the"White Temple”, inside it contains murals and paintings of Buddha images and painted enamel ceramic floors. The outside has been created with lime structure and Thai design decorated with small pieces of mirror that make the building sparkle and shine under the sunlight.

After our briefing we depart your accommodation for the famous Golden Triangle where the borders of Thailand, Burma and Laos meet.
We will visit the House of Opium.
Here the scenery and view of all three countries on Phukhao viewing point is panoramic.
We then descend down to the river and take a speed boat cruise on the Mekong River heading up to the Laos and Burmese border with a stop at Donxao Island (Laos).
We then continue onto the old capital of Chiang Saen which dates back to AD 1260 and located on the steep bank of Mae Khong River opposite to Laos. Here we will see some magnificent ruins and temples.

After our briefing we will drive north to Mae Sai. This is the Thai Burmese trading border. Here we will explore the local markets famous for products from southern 
China, Burma, and Laos.
We then visit a Jade cutting factory where guests can see and search for some of the best quality Burmese Jade.
Then we continue on to Wat Phra That DoiWao (aka Scorpion Temple) for some panoramic views of the Thai Burmese border and the Indra Buddha image (made of bamboo) that is enshrined in the temple.
Be prepared to interact with some monkeys followed by an opportunity to release fish into the river to earn merit with the spirits.
The half day tour will conclude with a stop at the northern most point of Thailand.
Then we return you to your accommodation.

After our briefing we depart your accommodation and drive north to the highest mountain peak on the Thai-Burmese border, Doi Tung, (2,000 meters above sea level).
Doi Tung was destroyed by shifting slash-and-burn cultivation, however in 1987 the Doi Tung development project was established according to the King’s Mother. Guests will visit the Mae Fah Luang Gardens, Hall of Inspiration, and Royal Villa followed by a drive further up the mountain to Wat Pra That Doi Tung.
Wat Pra That Doi Tung (considered the holiest sanctuary by residents of Chiang Rai, Lao, and Burma). It was built in A.D. 911 and it is believed that the left collarbone of Lord Buddha is enshrined in the twin pagodas.

After our briefing we depart your accommodation for Mae Chan.
From Mae Chan we drive to visit the Yoa and Ahka tribal villages. The tour will continue with a drive up Doi Mae Salong to Santi Khiri KMT Yunnan Chinese refugee settlement where guests will have the opportunity to shop for locally grown tea and coffee, in addition to a co-op store where homemade wines, medical herbs and other locally grown products are sold.
The local villagers are ethnic Chinese descendants of the KMT Nationalist Chinese armed regiment that took refuge in Thailand nearly 50 years ago after communist forces won the civil war in mainland China.
Doi Mae Salong enjoys a cool and refreshing climate all year round. In January, Thai cherry blossom (Sakura flowers) cover the hillsides. The half day tour will conclude with a visit to
Ahka and Yunnan Villages before returning you to your accommodation.

Once we are ready we head off down the Mae Kok River for a relaxing couple of hours and enjoy. We will float down the river with some brief stops for swimming and a visit to a Prasoet hot spring.
We will end up at the Elephant Camp. Once we arrive at the Elephant Camp we then return to your accommodation.

After our briefing we depart for the very well known Wat Rong Khun or White Temple.
Then we head north to visit the Wat Rong Suer Temple, also will know as the Blue Temple. This is a stunning temple inside and outside with colors and details that are exquisite.
Then we start heading north to the Thum Pla cave where you can feed wild monkeys and release fish into the river for Thai making merit.
We continue driving north to Mae Sai Town, the Thai-Burmese trading border to see jade cutting factory and explore the local market famous for products from southern China, Burma and Laos.
Lunch is served at a local restaurant.
After lunch we proceed to the Golden Triangle where the border of Thailand, Laos and Myanmar meet. Here we will visit the House of Opium museum. After our briefing we drive to the very well known Wat Rong Khun (White Temple). Here you can see the mural paintings in contemporary art of Mr. Chalermchai Kositpipat who created and devoted his life to work on this temple.
We continue to the Black House or Baan Dum where Mr. Tawan Datchanee one of the most famous artists in Thailand built it based on the idea of Yin and Yang and the balance between both. See the huge collections of art,
Choui Fong Tea plantation has a half century of tea. Knowledge and some of the best tea products in Thailand, They produce several different types of tea from green tea, Chinese Oolong tea.
Next we head off to the Thum Pla cave where you can feed the wild monkeys and release fish into the river for Thai making merit.
We then continue driving up to the northern most point of Thailand Mae Sai Town, Thai-Burmese trading border to see jade cutting factory and exploring a local market famous for products from southern China, Burma and Laos.
Lunch is served at a local restaurant.
We then proceed to Golden Triangle area where the border of Thailand, Laos and Myanmar
We then visit to the House of Opium Museum. Then we take a speed boat cruise along Mae Khong River to Donxao Island.
We then continue on to the old capital of Chiang Saen aged back to A.D. 1262 located on the steep bank of Mae Khong River opposite to Laos. Here we will see to some magnificent ancient ruins and temple.
We then return you to your accommodation.

After our briefing we head north for a drive up to the highest mountain peak on the Thai, Burmese border to Doi Tung which is 2,000 meters above sea level.
In the past the forest area around Doi Tung was destroyed by shifting slash and burn cultivation until 1987 when the Doi Tung Development Project was established according to the King’s mother initiative.
We will visit Mae Fah Luang Garden, Royal villa and Hall of inspiration. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.
After lunch we continue driving to Mae Sai Town. This is the Thai, Burmese trading border and the most northern point of Thailand.
We will visit a jade cutting and polishing factory and explore the local market famous for products from southern China, Burma and Laos.
We will then visit the Wat Doi Wao (Scorpion Temple) where you can see the panoramic view of Thailand and Myanmar. Here you can see a beautiful bamboo carved Buddha Image.
We return you to your accommodation.

After lunch we continue driving up to Doi Mae Salong to Santi kiri KMT Yunan Chinese refugee settlement with its tea and coffee plantations and also a co-op store where homemade wines, medical herbs and other locally grown products are sold. We will visit the tea plantation.

Lunch will be cooked on the river bank in traditional bamboo cooking style.
Then we drive to a local Ahka hill tribe village with a visit and walk over the suspension bridge and then a visit to the Phasert Hot Springs before returning you to your accommodation.

Then we take a local taxi to the Burmese and Shan wet market. Afterwards we continue onto the Da Kong stupa and Wat Sai Muong where the bamboo weaved Buddha is enshrined in the image hall.
